He is a painter. He had to witness domestic violence during his childhood. This struggle did not stop him from fighting for a better future. He moved to Phnom Penh and lived in a rental room, supported himself through construction work. With little money he had, he studied English. One day, he met with a painter and got hooked with the paintings, then asked the man he met to teach him how to draw. He did not realize he got drawing talent until he could draw after 3-month training. After a while, he quit construction work and turned to painting for profession and enrolled into a drawing school. Since then, he has become a professional painter but he still learns more about how to improve his painting skills.
